With our handy position to the beach the family will be living on the beach. Cross Ocean Parade and then use the track that is cut through the bush reserve, and there you are, Park Beach, a huge expanse of golden sandy beach and reassuringly, there are several fully surf patrolled zones along Park Beach too.

Park Beach won’t disappoint the surfers either, the surfing conditions are usually excellent, along with several other beaches around the northern point.

Coffs Harbour – The Great Outdoors

Keeping your powder dry is fine too, the Macauleys Headland Walking Track can be accessed from the northern end of Park Beach, which is very handy to the Pacific Towers Beach Resort. This circuit of short walks is a great way to take in the scenery of the Coffs Coast Regional Park. Along the way, and located opposite the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour is Diggers Beach, an excellent destination for surfing, fishing, swimming, bird watching and beach walking.

If you wish to venture further there are also Sedgeway tours. Introductory classes take twenty minutes and you’re instructed on the fine art of all-terrain mobility on a Sedgway rider. If you want a longer and more challenging ride you can book an all-terrain tour that takes you through bush and beach.

Younger families might want to try Jetty Beach south of Park Beach which offers a very calm stretch of water for younger families. North of Park Beach is Moonee Beach. While it’s not patrolled it is a very popular with fishing destination. At the Moonee Beach Reserve, the Moonee Creek meets Moonee Beach and is a popular area for locals and holidaymakers alike with smaller children. The reserve has a shallow estuary for the younger children, with a lot of the creek shaded by trees. The reserves facilities include a playground, picnic tables and shelters, barbecues, toilets and beach showers. There’s also a lovely stroll to the headland over the boardwalk bridge.

There’s plenty of the great outdoors just outside the front doors of the Pacific Towers Beach Resort and with Coffs Harbour beachfront accommodation like this, who wants to wait. Book now.
